• What's in it for me?

  Symbyoz is an online notebook and social collaboration platform. It will help you use your social capital and collective intelligence to extend the limits of your knowledge, and of your memory, to boost your ideas.

• Why the name Symbyoz?

  Collective intelligence is sometimes referred to as Symbiotic intelligence. Our name reflects our values which are long and mutually beneficial interactions.

• My ideas are private. Should I use Symbyoz?

  Yes, Symbyoz allows you to create ideas privately, and to share only with people you trust. Your content always belongs to you. You decide who have access.

• How are my ideas protected?

  Our Terms of Services include a Non Disclosure Agreement that you can activate by specifying that your private or restricted content is confidential. Symbyoz also makes it easy to establish that an idea originated from you.

• Can I patent my idea?

  Of course, your ideas and content belongs to you. A patent applies to a specific product design, not just an idea. If you really need one, Symbyoz will facilitate your research and collaboration efforts with a patent attorney to flesh out your idea into a robust design before filing.
